Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Crenwiz ("we," "us," or "our") uses your information when you use our add-ons ("Add-ons") for Google Workspace. 

Information we access and how we use it

Add-on accesses the following Google user data, solely for the purposes described below, and does not store this data:

• User's emails (Limited access - only to one specific sender and subject line): The Add-on accesses your emails, but only to search for emails from the configured HR system email address (see "App Configuration Data" section below) with the configured subject line. This is necessary to identify approved leave requests. These emails are then processed, no data is stored, and no personal information is collected in the process. The Add-on does not access, read, process, or store any other emails beyond those matching these specific criteria. No other email content is accessed or processed.

• User's name: We access your name from your Google profile to create descriptive Out of Office (OOO) calendar event titles (e.g., "Joe OOO").

• User's specific calendar data (Limited access): We access your default Google Calendar for two specific purposes:

  • Preventing Duplicates: When the Add-on detects an approved leave period, it searches your default calendar only within that date range for existing OOO events. This prevents creating duplicate OOO events. We only read event titles (to check for the "{Name} OOO" format), start/end dates, and an OOO event flag. No other event details are accessed.

  • Creating OOO Events: If no matching OOO event exists, we create one on your default calendar using your name and the leave period. We do not access or modify any other calendar events.

  • Team Calendar Check: The Add-on checks for the existence of a team calendar (identified by a specific emoji ✨) among your calendars. This allows us to copy the OOO event to the team calendar, if available. We do not access, read, or store any other data from these calendars.

Information we do not collect 

We do not collect any personal information from users of the Add-on. This includes email addresses, contact information, or any other data from Google services.

App Configuration Data 

The Add-on stores only necessary configuration data, such as the HR system's email address (used for processing leave requests), the approved leave email subject line, and the date format used in those emails. This configuration data is not considered personal information.

Data Sharing and Retention

We do not share any Google user data with any third-party services.

The Add-on is stateless; we do not retain any accessed Google user data. 

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the security of any information that may be indirectly collected through your use of the Add-ons, in accordance with the security practices of the relevant platform. 

We comply with Google's security practices outlined in the Google Workspace Marketplace Developer Policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
