This Privacy Policy describes how Crenwiz ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information in connection with your use of our add-ons ("Add-ons") for Atlassian and Google Workspace products. Your privacy is our priority, and we are committed to transparency in our data practices.
Our Add-ons are designed to be privacy-first. We do not collect or store Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, or the content you create within our Add-ons.
For details on anonymous data collected for product improvement in specific Add-ons, please see the "Usage Data" section below.
To improve our products and prioritize new features, some of our Add-ons may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data. This practice is not active in all of our Add-ons. When it is, the following applies:
What We Collect: We track non-personal usage events (e.g., "app loaded"). The data sent includes a hashed, pseudonymous ID for the product installation, the user's locale (e.g., en-US), and timezone. The hashing is a one-way process, meaning we cannot identify your instance or your users from this ID.
Purpose: This data helps us understand which features are most valuable, identify performance issues, and make informed decisions to improve your experience. It is used exclusively for internal analytics.
Third-Party Processors: We use Google Analytics to process this anonymous data. This data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
If an Add-on collects Usage Data as described above, it is used exclusively for internal analytics to enhance the product.
We do not use any information for marketing, advertising, or selling to third parties.
We will not disclose any personally identifiable information to any third party without your consent.
For the purpose of product improvement analytics, we may share the anonymous Usage Data with third-party processors.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to process anonymous usage data. This data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of security for our Add-ons, in accordance with the security practices of the relevant platform (Atlassian or Google).
The following practices are in place to protect any data processed by our Add-ons:
Data storage and management: The Add-on does not process or store End-User Data outside of Atlassian products and services.
Data residency: Our Atlassian Marketplace Add-ons store End-User Data exclusively within Atlassian products and services which support data residency options, as outlined Atlassian Data Residency Policy and Atlassian Forge Apps - Data Residency. The only data stored by the Add-on is its configuration, which is stored securely within each Confluence page and deleted when the page is deleted.
Platform Security: We leverage the robust security infrastructure of the Atlassian Marketplace. Our Add-ons operate within their secure environment, benefiting from their security measures, including data encryption in transit and at rest. We comply with Atlassian's security practices as outlined in their developer guidelines and adhere to their Secure by Design principles. We adhere to the Atlassian Forge Security best practices.
Secure Development Practices: We adhere to secure coding practices, including those outlined by OWASP and Secure Product Design, perform code reviews, and manage dependencies with a focus on automated vulnerability scanning of the source and the Add-on itself (following Vulnerability Management Guide for Atlassian Marketplace Partners). Access to the Add-on source and Add-on marketplace administration meets the highest security standards (OAuth 2, MFA, time-limited credentials).
Platform-Specific Notes:
Atlassian Marketplace Add-ons: We comply with Atlassian's security practices outlined in the Atlassian Marketplace App Security Guidelines and Security Guidelines for Marketplace Partners.
Google Workspace Marketplace Apps: We comply with Google's security practices outlined in the Google Workspace Marketplace Developer Policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
